The 2007 Infiniti was powered by a 5.6 liter V8 engine that delivered 320 hp of power at 4900 rpm and torque of 393 lb ft at 3600 rpm. The only transmission available to the 2007 Infiniti QX 56 engine was 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It was available in either all wheel drive or in rear wheel drive. Though the V8 engine delivered more power than the previous version, the mileage rates achieved are same. It achieved 13 miles per gallon in the city premises and 18 miles per gallon on the highway roads.

The comfort and convenience features in the 2007 Infiniti QX 56 model were leather seats, power doors and mirrors, power seats and air conditioning. The luxury model had the seating capacity to accommodate up to 8-passengers.
